BeMUSed is a Saskatoon-based group of classically trained musicians who blend musical performances with literature and story-telling to create new and diverse concert experiences.
This year’s BeMUSed for Kids series at the Refinery began with October’s Halloween Spooktacular, which was highly praised as “a dynamic presentation of classic music and stories,” with shadow puppetry, sing-alongs, and all sorts of fun. This series continues on March 11th.
BeMUSed also gears performances to more mature tastes including The Cremation of Sam McGee at McNally Robinson and last year’s presentation of 84 Charing Cross Road at the Francis Morrison Library. At an upcoming Valentines’ Day show at McClure United Church on February 12th BeMUSed will bring together some of the greatest love stories with equally well-loved music for another heart-felt event.
BeMused is very happy to be a part of the Heritage Festival of Saskatoon.
